In Abtrac, you can enable timesheet threshold warnings at the job and/or task levels.
If you have assigned a fee estimate to your job or task, then you can enable Timesheet Threshold Warnings.
Timesheet threshold warnings are budget notifications that pop up within the timesheet entries screen when the threshold value specified is reached or exceeded.
These warnings can be applied to the entire fee budget for the job, or at the task level.
Default threshold warnings can be set up from system settings.
At any stage, a user can still enter time against the task and job.
Because of this, when you enable timesheet warnings, it is a good idea to let the staff know about them, and ask them to contact you if they receive a warning when entering time.Continue reading
The Timesheet Entries report shows all time and cost for the chosen criteria.
There are quite a few variations on the ‘basic’ timesheet entries report with options for lots of different filters, groups and sub-groupings.
The Unbilled Work Quick Summary page shows all unbilled time and cost from all time up to a chosen date.
It’s used to quickly see where you are at on a job (project), and what you need to bill.

The Clients and Jobs Not Billable report gives a list of clients and their jobs which are not billable. This report is only available for current clients and current projects.
The New Clients Between Dates report gives a simple list of jobs (projects) created between two dates.
The Unbilled Work Quick Summary on Proposals report gives a list of ‘unbilled’ work on proposals within a selected date range.
It’s useful to check the value of time and cost spent on proposals.
This report includes many of the same filters and features used for managing billable WIP, and can be accessed from the same screen. It’s used to compare and manage current proposals by filtering and grouping data by office, client manager, and project managers.
As the name suggests, Unbilled Work Quick Summary Report will give you a summarised report that you can run against one or all jobs, to see quickly what is outstanding out of all your billable time.
It’s a static printable report of unbilled time as of a given date. For live WIP management we recommend using Manage WIP from the Invoicing screens.Continue reading
The Invoices by Client with Narration report gives a list of clients and their invoices with narration between selected dates.
The Invoices by GL Account Code report gives a list of invoices between selected dates with their amounts classified by the accounting code assigned in Abtrac.
It’s used to reconcile Abtrac invoices to your accounting software, and provides profitability analysis by revenue codes. (also known as a GL Account Code, Sales, or Income codes).
The Jobs and Tasks report gives a list of jobs with associated tasks, estimated time and fees.
Formerly only available for current jobs, you can now filter by date, current/non-current jobs, and also billable/non-billable.
