Jobs to make Non-Current report gives a list of possible current jobs to make non-current due to no action on them since a selected date. You can view this data as a pdf report or from within a management screen where you can close jobs (and optionally clients) in bulk by updating projects as non-current.
How to view Jobs to make Non-Current
Go to Reports >> Performance Reports >> Clients and Jobs >> click on Jobs to make Non-Current >> select the required ‘Date From’
Choose the current date to view all current projects in the system, regardless if whether they timesheets or disbursements.
Otherwise the date selected will show any jobs with no timesheets or invoices since that date.
You can also optionally filter/and group the report by Job Office & Job Owner.

Click on the ‘Print Preview’ button on the top right.
This will take you to directly the ‘Jobs to make Non-Current’ page in Abtrac, which gives a list of jobs with no action since the selected date.
Click on the column headers to sort by Job Code, Client, Job Description, Last Timesheet date, and Last Invoice date.
How to update jobs and make multiple projects non-current.
This is an editable screen, where you can remove the current tick from a project or multiple projects. Save changes to all records at the bottom of the table to make tidy up jobs and make them non-current in bulk.
How to make clients non-current at the same time as you close jobs.
From Administration >> Settings >> System Settings >> ‘Clients and Jobs’ tab >> under ‘Defaults when Creating a New Job’ section, tick the box for ‘Make client non-current if client no longer has any current Jobs‘ and save.
When this option is enabled, if you are making the last job for a client non-current from the Jobs to make Non-Current screen – Abtrac will automatically set the client as non-current also.
How to generate the Projects to be made Non-Current Report
From the Jobs to make current screen, you can click on the ‘Print Preview’ button on the top right to preview a static report of ‘Jobs to make Non-Current’.
Understanding the data
The Jobs to Make Non-Current report shows the following information-
- Job Code
- Client
- Description (Description)
- Last Timesheet
- Last Invoice and
- Current tick box
From Clients, Contacts & Jobs >> Search Clients and Jobs >> click on any ‘Contact Name’ to view the client Details for page.
The ‘Client’ name for this report comes from the ‘Details’ tab in the Details for client page.
From Clients, Contacts & Jobs >> Search Clients and Jobs >> click on the relevant ‘Job Code’ corresponding to the ‘Contact name’ to go into Job Details page.
The ‘Job Code’, ‘Description’ and ‘Current’ status tick box for this report comes from the Job Details tab in this page.
From Reports >> Performance Reports >> Select ‘Jobs to make Non-Current’ under ‘Clients and Jobs’ section >> click on the ‘Print Preview’ button to go into Jobs to Make Non-Current page >> ‘Last Timesheet Date’ and ‘Last Invoice Date’ for the relevant job can be found here.
Abtrac searches for you the corresponding last timesheet date and the last invoice date for the relevant job.
