Abtrac treats all clients as organisations when communicating with MYOB. All records from Abtrac are shared as MYOB Companies by default. Learn how MYOB customers as individuals can be matched during invoice upload, and understand the limitations of client synchronisation when working with individual customer records.

The Abtrac API allows external applications, reporting tools and integrations to retrieve selected data from Abtrac. It is most commonly used with Microsoft Power BI and other business intelligence platforms to create custom reports, dashboards and analysis. The API can also be used to develop custom integrations with other applications, automation platforms and AI tools that support REST APIs. API access is available separately from your standard Abtrac subscription and requires a one-time setup fee.

MYOB has changed its authentication requirements. For the time being, invoices and other items pushed from Abtrac to MYOB must be authorised by an MYOB user with full Administrator access to the company file.
