Abtrac client contacts search screen is the first point of call to quickly look up details about any client, contact, or person.
Once logged in you can go to Clients, Contacts & Jobs then > Search People.
Use this screen as your contact management, phone book, or even your mailing list.
You can search most fields related to a client person.
You can also do a partial search and search by role and/or location, for example if you needed to look up a Surveyor you worked with in Tamworth but you can’t remember the Job or their name.
Type in the search bar and click on the magnifying glass search icon. Now select the search criterion from the dropdown. When searching by client address, it is best to filter by ‘contains’.
Search Filters and Exporting
By default, this screen filters by ‘Current’ clients and ‘All’ contacts.
You can filter this screen by Current, Non-current or All Clients and Contacts.
You can export the information in a CSV format easily for creating your own lists for things such as your Xmas card list or marketing email lists etc.
Setting the contact fields you can search
The page layout can be customised for the whole site by using the User Control Settings to show, hide, and adjust widths.
Updating for all users (Administrators)

Here you can select ‘Client People – Search’ page from the dropdown and adjust the position and width of the field names.

Updating for the logged in user only
You can also make adjustments per user using the “Grid Layout” features by simply dragging, sliding and moving controls then saving your layout.
