Status update: Performance issue affecting some users

Status: Resolved

Last updated 03 September 2024 13:30 NZST

The Abtrac performance issue yesterday appears to be have been caused when one Abtrac site ran the Invoice Preparation Information Report for all clients and all jobs and then tried to export thousands of pages as a Word doc. Large reports like the Invoice Preparation Information Report are queued for loading, and users see the loading icon as data is collated. But in this case the user tried several times without cancelling the data already being processed, and we understand the MS queueing system got into a loop. We are now restricting what can be done with that report.

Thank you again for you patience yesterday.

We are aware of an issue affecting some Abtrac users this morning who are unable to access the system, or are having performance issues.

Whilst service has been restored and Abtrac performance is now stable our technical team are still investigating what caused this issue.

We are aware of an issue affecting some Abtrac users this morning who are unable to access the system, or are having performance issues.

Our technical team are investigating this and implementing a boost to services whilst we run analysis to find out if the cause it something to do with us or a wider issue.
We are expecting service to normalise within the next 5 minutes or so.
