The Xero feature that includes invoice links in customer statements can’t be turned off. The links will be there if you are sending out statements using a Standard Xero invoice template.
The difference in linking to a Xero invoice or Abtrac invoice can be mostly cosmetic. The invoice totals remain the same, but you’ll be missing some reference information in the Xero invoice header compared to Abtrac (like Job description, Job Code etc). If you use Progress Claim invoices in Abtrac then the majority of the claim information will also not display in a Xero invoice. These are the main reasons Abtrac users have chosen to disable the Standard Xero Statement links.
In order to send statements without the invoice links, your Xero statement needs to be sent out using an advanced invoice template.
The invoice links will be automatically removed from the statements that are sent out using an advanced invoice template.
