Search and Track Projects with Google Maps

The Google Maps integration is new feature to link and track your jobs spatially.

It lets you pinpoint the longitude & latitude of a project, you can save these locations to your Abtrac datafile and then search for other pinned jobs within a radius of the selected project.

The Google Maps interface is an add-on module to your subscription, subject to a monthly fee. Basic Google Maps is free for all Abtrac users. More details on how to use both these features and subscribe to interactive maps are included below.

Activating your Abtrac Subscription

When you Go Live with AbtracOnLine, you will be sent an email confirming your site is live, and letting you know your login details.

Once you have logged into Abtrac, you will need to go to the subscriptions page and enter your payment details to activate your site.

Part of this activation includes a digital confirmation that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions of use.

Once we receive your credit card details, your monthly subscription will then be activated and will continue for as long as appropriate and timely payments are being made. Read on for instructions on how to activate your site.

Managing changes to your subscription

From September 1^st 2017 we are changing the way we manage adjustments to your Abtrac subscription.

We are moving to a more automated licensing system, leaving you in control of your licensed employees and your monthly licence fees.

When you make a change to your employees (or add-on modules) you will now be asked to confirm this change – and acknowledge any resultant change to your subscription fees. Read on for more details on what is involved in the new system, and how it may affect your current AbtracOnLine subscription.

Current Employees

AbtracOnLine subscriptions are based on the number of current employees or users. These users are defined as being not only current logins, but also the number of current employees being managed through Abtrac. More details are here in our Terms.

You can add or amend users from the administration screen. If your current employees exceed your licensed users in Abtrac you’ll either receive a licensing notification, or hear from the support team directly to adjust your subscription. If you don’t need extra users, then you might just need to make some changes to your current employees.

AbtracOnLine licensing and additional costs

Abtrac is licensed on a per user* basis.

*We define ‘users’ as being not only current logins, but the number of current employees being managed through Abtrac– that is anyone who logs on, or who has timesheets done for them, or is being processed through Abtrac in any period.

If you have any special cases regarding your current users that you feel we need to take into account then please do give the support team a call to discuss your requirements.

The standard Abtrac subscription does not include the add-on modules of Debtor Management or Accounting package integration.
