As we head into 2026, we’re excited to share what’s coming next for Abtrac. This roadmap reflects the ideas, feedback, and ambitions of our community, and we want to extend a big thank you to all our clients who’ve helped shape our product planning.
This isn’t a definitive list — rather, an update on some of the key features currently in development. With so much happening behind the scenes, we felt now was a good time to lift the curtain and share what’s on the way.
Here’s a look at our short- to mid-term plans for Abtrac’s development: 2026–2027.
A New Abtrac Experience: Cleaner, Modern, More Intuitive
This year, we’re rolling out a refreshed interface across Abtrac. You’ll notice a cleaner, more modern look and improved usability on the pages you use most. This update isn’t just cosmetic, it’s designed to help you get through your day faster, with less friction and a more consistent experience across the system.
We’ll make gradual adjustments each month so you’ll never be faced with a sudden, big change. We don’t want anybody feeling frustrated by unannounced changes when working with Abtrac.
Smarter Support with AI Chatbot Assistance
One of the most exciting additions to the roadmap is our upcoming AI Support Agent.
This new smart assistant will help answer common questions, guide you through tasks, and provide instant support wherever you are in Abtrac. Thanks to all the Abtrac users who have used the AI agent in it’s early stages, even when it wasn’t as smart as it thought it was!

Stronger Logins with Microsoft Single Sign-On
We’re upgrading the Abtrac login experience with Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO).
This means simpler, faster access and an added layer of security—especially for businesses already using Microsoft 365 across their organisation.
Continuing Our Free Webinar Series
Our free webinar programme will continue throughout 2026, helping teams build confidence, discover features they may not have used before, and get more value from Abtrac. We’ll cover everything from everyday tips, reporting advice, and detailed end to end tutorials, with new sessions added regularly.
More Power for Proposal Management
We’re building out additional features to improve how you create, track, and manage proposals in Abtrac. These enhancements will help you standardise your process, improve oversight, and convert opportunities more efficiently.
Performance, Reliability, and Core Improvements
Behind the scenes, we’re continuing to strengthen Abtrac’s performance and stability. This is the boring stuff that really excites our development team. As the platform grows, we’re investing heavily in optimisation to ensure everything runs smoothly – even for our largest teams with decades of data.
Refined Permissions, Security, and Expanded Integrations
Security remains a cornerstone of our roadmap.
Over the next 18 months, you’ll see refinements to user permissions and access control, making it easier to manage who can do what within your system.
We’re also expanding our integrations to help you connect Abtrac more deeply with other tools your business relies on. Expect more flexibility, fewer manual steps, and smoother data flow across your systems.

Longer term our plan is to continue to find a balance between what Abtrac users need today, and what they will need in the future.
